Rescue Engine 202 is a 2007 Marion custom Spartan Gladiator chasis that was designed to replace both an aging Engine and aging Rescue unit.  It is powered by a 350 HP Cat diesel engine and Allison transmission.  The cab has a 12' raised cab for the rear seat passengers and SCBA seats for 5 personnel. The pump is a 1500 GMP Waterous single stage pump with top-mount controls to allow the engineer a full 360 degree view of the foreground.  In addition to the 550 gallon water tank, this engine has two-30 gallon foam cells capable of delivering either class A and/or class B foam concentrate, pre-piped into the pump for hand lines.  There is an 8-KW hydraulic generate onboard with brow lighting as well as lighting after along with removable try-pod type lighting on both street and curb side of the body.  Ladders are carried on a hydraulic ladder rack, keeping them out of the way of the full height, full depth rescue type compartments that carries full rescue tools in addition to the usual firefighting tools.
